What you would be doing
You keep the electronic systems of the Eitan — Israel's wheeled armored fighting vehicle — running: cameras, operating displays, the firing system and other advanced tech. You diagnose, locate and repair faults, and you can run a full readiness check on the vehicle. Because the Eitan has been adopted by Nahal and is in demand across elite infantry units like Sayeret Matkal and Shayetet, this role can put you alongside them. You earn a combatant's certificate and full combat-soldier status, benefits included.
What it takes to get in
A graduate of the technology reserve track, profile 64.
Training
A four-and-a-half-week course.
Where you serve
In infantry battalions, the national Technology and Maintenance Corps formation, and development and training units, including special units.
