What you would be doing
You design and build high-voltage electrical projects, serving in one of the IDF's construction units. You study at a college — an extension of 13th and 14th grade — that earns you an electrical technician diploma, then sit a professional exam before your promotion to sergeant. You can end up posted to any IDF unit.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above; you need to be a graduate of the technology reserve track (technician or engineer) in electronics.
