What you would be doing

You're part of the General Staff's professional, multidisciplinary information-security system, working to stop classified IDF information from leaking and to expose and foil enemy intelligence efforts. There are several tracks: tracking anomalies and data leaks from IDF assets, digital forensics on computer equipment to find and confirm leaks, analyzing malware found through investigations, setting information-security policy and providing security cover for operations, exercises, weapons projects and classified programs, running security-clearance interviews and preparing candidates for polygraph tests, and analyzing information to assess whether soldiers are fit for classified roles.

What it takes to get in

Profile 25 and above and Dapar 50. Yom Ha-MEA scores: management and organization 3 and above, information processing 3 and above.
