What you would be doing
You study physics and programming languages in an intensive three-month course, then join a technology unit within the Intelligence Corps. You need to absorb complex material fast and think both abstractly and practically, like an engineer. After the course you work across various technical areas, sometimes with extra training for a specific task.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 60 and above, 4 study units of math and above. 5 study units of physics preferred.
Training
About 3 months on a closed base: physics, programming languages and more.
Where you serve
An open base in central Israel; living on base is possible in specific cases.
What it is worth afterwards
Technical and programming skills are valued in high-tech.
