There's a path into command and officer roles alongside meaningful service, and you're supported from the moment you're picked for the role right through to the end of mandatory service — directly shaping the IDF's readiness, in routine and in emergency.

Engineering battalions, regional brigades, the national Tana formation, emergency depot units, and experimental units.
