Collection Electronics Technician

You work on the observation systems deployed along Israel's borders, plus a few classified systems the army won't name here. Day to day you handle routine maintenance, testing and troubleshooting on this equipment and on computing and network systems, keeping the operational array combat-ready. After the course you're posted to combat collection battalions, development and training units, or the Rehabilitation and Maintenance Center (Masha).

Profile 64 and above, a graduate of the technology track.

An eight-week course (the course text elsewhere says nine weeks) covering the observation systems deployed along the country's borders, plus classified systems the army won't detail here — you come out certified on observation systems.

In combat collection battalions, development and training units, and the Rehabilitation and Maintenance Center (Masha).

You come out with a lot of practical knowledge on complex systems, which makes this an in-demand trade in defense industries and civilian industry alike.
