What you would be doing
You repair and maintain complex electronics across the IDF — optical sights, border-defense systems, radar, drones and robotics, or electronics on self-propelled guns (Tomat). Which one you specialize in is decided during the course, and you can go on to optional follow-up courses on drones, the Gil launcher, Katlanit, Drakonit or Tomat. The work itself is hands-on: finding faults, calibrating and repairing systems that need to work without failure.
What it takes to get in

Training
Basic training 02 at Bahad 20 in the training city, then a 5.5-week course at Bahad 20; suitable candidates can go on to command and officer tracks.
