What you would be doing
Every remote outpost and position has a generator. You learn everything about the electrical and drive systems of IDF generators, up to 150 KVA output, so critical systems never lose power in routine and in war. There's a posting for this role in almost every unit in the army, and in some infantry brigades you can complete rifleman training (03) for a combat certificate. Already a licensed electrician from the technological reserve? This is the course for you.
