What you would be doing
You maintain fighter jets, helicopters, drones and systems like Iron Dome, keeping the Air Force's aircraft and operational systems combat-ready. The track trains you for one of about 80 different maintenance jobs across the corps, working on some of the most advanced technology in the world — the stealth fighter, autonomous munitions, smart pilot helmets, satellite communications.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 16-week course.
Where you serve
At one of the Air Force bases, mostly closed-base; a few positions are open-base.
What it is worth afterwards
Hands-on technical experience, teamwork, working under pressure and time management, and running after-action reviews.
