What you would be doing
You handle takeoff and landing for the Air Force's drones (UAVs) and take part in their operational missions. You need prior experience flying model aircraft.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above, Dapar 50 and above, experience flying model aircraft, a security clearance, medical checks.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 50-week course, at the UAV School on Palmachim base.
Where you serve
At Palmachim base, in the Air Force's UAV squadrons.
What it is worth afterwards
Experience with drone takeoff and control is valued in civilian industry — test flights and customer training.
