What you would be doing
You're the officer and commander responsible for intelligence in a combat battalion — a rare mix of command, technology and real combat. You shape the battalion's operations both in routine times and in combat, working with classified material and building the intelligence picture that operational planning rests on. Training is long and serious — 19 months, including officers' courses. Men only.
What it takes to get in
Profile 72 and above, an affinity for digital environments, suitability for officer training. Men only.
Training
19 months: combat training (basic training 05), a field-intelligence course, officers' courses (Bahad 1) and specialized Intelligence Corps training, with a personal mentor — a senior intelligence officer.
Where you serve
Regular combat battalions in the field corps.
