Criminal Investigator, Military Police CID (Matzah)

You uncover and investigate crimes in the army: gathering evidence, questioning witnesses, interrogating suspects, and using both covert and overt technological tools. You investigate cases involving weapons and combat materiel, drugs, sexual offenses and fraud, training accidents, operational incidents, mass-casualty events, cyber and traffic accidents. Because the work is undercover in nature, CID investigators serve in plain clothes.

Profile 64 and above, Dapar 50 and above. Female candidates must sign Form 16A ("a woman's duty equals a man's") committing to 32 months of service. Chances of acceptance among those who meet the requirements: medium. Yom Ha-MEA scores: human relations 3 and above, management and organization 2 and above, information processing 3 and above, command 2 and above, structured conduct 3 and above. A security clearance is required.
