What you would be doing
You operate advanced communications and infrastructure systems for intelligence, sometimes working directly with the civilian high-tech company ECI — for example, building intelligence sites from scratch. Everything you study on the course and do in service is fully civilian material in communications, which carries straight over to a civilian job. The course lasts about 6 weeks across 4 levels.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above, Hebrew score 8 and above, passing a security clearance of level 2 and above.
Training
About 6 weeks, split into 4 levels, each one building on the last.
Where you serve
One of four bases: Glilot (the main one), Meishar (Tzfat), Tznifim (Jerusalem) or Yarkon (Ofakim).
What it is worth afterwards
The course material and the work are fully civilian — communications and infrastructure knowledge that carries over into high-tech.
