What you would be doing
You help protect the moral fiber of the army: stopping traffic offenders, ensuring the safety of soldiers and other road users, and escorting senior officials and foreign ambassadors during visits. In wartime, military police play a major part in the emergency effort, sealing off combat zones and key roads so combat forces can operate without interference. The role calls for confidence and quick decision-making.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above, Dapar 40 and above. You're assigned this role after enlisting into a military-police company.
Training
About 6 weeks of Military Police tironut at the training base, then about 4 weeks of a policing course, followed by fieldwork.
