What you would be doing
You shoot and process visual intelligence — documentary, operational and intelligence photography, plus lab work and digital image processing. You'll sometimes also photograph the unit's events. You need real photography knowledge and experience before you arrive — training after basic training covers the rest, in a course of about a month and a half (photography basics, digital shooting, image processing, working with flashes and long lenses).
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above, prior knowledge and experience in photography. (Yom Ha-MEA scores for women: management and organization 2+, technical operation 2+.)
Training
About a month and a half course after basic training: photography basics, digital photography, image processing, lab work, advanced techniques.
