What you would be doing
You handle procurement for the army — ordering and receiving equipment, keeping a supply catalogue, and tracking quality and quantity. Depending on your role, you either work with a specific department, deal directly with outside suppliers, or run the unit's cataloguing system. There's no separate course — you're trained through personal, on-the-job mentoring, with room to grow quickly if you do well.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 50 and above. Selection includes tests, interviews and a security check.
Training
Personal, one-on-one mentoring in the unit (no separate course), with room for fast growth based on ability.
Where you serve
An open base in central Israel, with travel around the country.
What it is worth afterwards
Procurement and logistics experience is useful in civilian life.
