What the role is like
What you would be doing
the full text, nothing cutYou handle procurement for the army — ordering and receiving equipment, keeping a supply catalogue, and tracking quality and quantity. Depending on your role, you either work with a specific department, deal directly with outside suppliers, or run the unit's cataloguing system. There's no separate course — you're trained through personal, on-the-job mentoring, with room to grow quickly if you do well.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 50 and above. Selection includes tests, interviews and a security check.
Training
Personal, one-on-one mentoring in the unit (no separate course), with room for fast growth based on ability.
Where you serve
An open base in central Israel, with travel around the country.
