What you would be doing
If you're accepted, you train in Arabic — with heavy emphasis on high-level spoken Arabic — and then work searching, analyzing and summarizing intelligence material using the unit's language engines and advanced technological systems. From here you can move into leading language and intelligence projects, or go on to command or officer courses.
What it takes to get in
Medical profile 45 and above. A graduate of the Arabic-language track with 5 study units.
Training
Tironut 02, then a five-month military course at a closed base specializing in Arabic, intelligence work and the unit's technological systems, after which you're placed at bases around the country.
