What you would be doing
You go through a computer-heavy selection process: an online self-report questionnaire on programming languages, operating systems, networks and security, an exam day testing knowledge across topics like C#, Java, Python, C, Assembly, Windows, Unix, cyber security and web, a hands-on practical workshop, and a professional interview built around real work samples. If accepted, you work on advanced technological challenges with classified material in an operational Military Intelligence environment, with a strong emphasis on independent learning.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 60 and above, medical profile 25 and above, Hebrew score 7. Students and graduates of 5 units of computer science are automatically eligible for selection; without that background, you can request selection through the Aman intake line if you have relevant experience from elsewhere. Most positions require a 3-year keva (career service) commitment, and signing to extend mandatory service to 32 months (for women and volunteers) is a required step to join.
Training
Various trainings run within a pre-military course under the intelligence and cyber training system.
