What you would be doing
You give extra-help lessons to high-school students at the Air Force's own schools, grades 9 through 12, mainly in math, English and physics. Lessons run in small groups where you give each student personal attention.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 5-week course.
Where you serve
At Air Force schools around the country, open-base, with the option of staying overnight in soldiers' lodging; a closed-base option also exists.
What it is worth afterwards
Instruction, public speaking, building lesson plans, teaching and mentoring teenagers.
