What you would be doing

This is a fast-track officer program combining basic training, a course, hands-on experience at various units around the country, officer training, unit-level follow-up, and finally your rank. You train to organize, plan, manage and take care of the corps' personnel, and to provide administrative backing for operational work. The role requires signing on for one extra year of career service.

What it takes to get in

Profile 45 and above, Dapar 60 and above. Open to men and women not headed for combat roles. For women, Yom Ha-MEA: instruction 2+, command 2+, human relations 3+, management and organization 2+.

Training

Basic training 02, then nine months: basic training (about 4 months) covering command content and the administrative corps, an officers' course (about 2 months at Bahad 1, ending with the platoon-commander pin), and unit-level follow-up (ending with the rank of second lieutenant).

Where you serve

At Air Force units and headquarters — for example, squadron adjutant, staff officer, personnel-planning officer, or public-relations officer.
