What you would be doing

You decode aerial and satellite photos and turn them into intelligence about what's happening on the ground. Your work directly helps locate enemy targets and support special operations. You serve either at Air Force headquarters on an open base or on a closed Air Force base, and the skills you build here are valued in the defense industry afterward.

What it takes to get in

Men: profile 45-64. Women: profile 45 and above. Dapar 60 and above. Yom Ha-MEA: Information processing 3+, Diligence and persistence 3+, Spatial perception 3+, Sustained attention 3+. Security clearance and a vision test required, plus a commitment to serve under the 'equal service' rule.

Training

Tironut 02 plus 14 weeks of training at the Mifrasit base (Bahad 15).

Where you serve

Air Force headquarters at the Kirya (open base), or one of the Air Force bases (closed base).

What it is worth afterwards
