What you study
Aeronautical and space engineering deals with the development of airborne systems, such as airplanes and helicopters, drones and unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles, weapons systems, rocket engines, satellites, and more. The curriculum includes a broad foundation in the sciences: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science; followed by studies in the fundamentals of all aeronautical and space engineering disciplines: aerodynamics, structures, jet and rocket propulsion, control, design and manufacturing, as well as a comprehensive final project in aeronautics or space.
