Through a preparatory program

Graduates of annual pre-academic mechinot

  • The admission of graduates of an annual pre-academic mechina at a public institution of higher education will be considered based on an adjusted score calculated from the psychometric score, the final grade in the mechina, and the average bagrut grades (after they have been improved in the mechina).

Through a preparatory program

The mechina that replaces the psychometric exam

  • Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements can register for the mechina that replaces the psychometric exam
For adults and those who have studied before2

Applicants with partial or full academic studies

  • For applicants who do not meet the admission requirements and studied at a recognized academic institution (in Israel or abroad), their previous academic achievements will be considered if the following conditions are met:
  • Scope of studies – at least 30 credit points.
  • Grade average – at least 80.
  • No more than 5 years have passed since completion of the previous studies.
  • These conditions are minimum requirements for consideration and do not necessarily guarantee admission.

Applicants aged 30 or older who do not have a bagrut certificate

  • Applicants aged 30 or older who do not have a bagrut certificate may apply after being accepted to an approved pre-academic mechina and before starting their academic studies, based on their psychometric exam results.

These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.

The requirements are in the institution's words. Names and labels marked "our wording" are our own, written from the same page.

For every track
