What you study

Israel, a country with few natural resources, must base its economy on developing a modern, knowledge-intensive industry. Most of this industry is based on computers, circuits, microelectronics, control systems, communications systems, sensing systems, optoelectronics, and various types of electronic measurement systems.

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science study program is designed to train engineers with broad knowledge of hardware and software, who will form the leading tier in research and development in the high-tech industries. Graduates of the program can join knowledge-intensive industries in a wide range of engineering and scientific roles in computer and software engineering.
