Special track
Exceptional admission
- The College allows applicants who do not meet the required grade average to be admitted (hereinafter: exceptional admission), up to 10% of the number of students admitted to each program. The considerations guiding exceptional admission are: special personal circumstances; affirmative action for disadvantaged populations; expanding access to academic studies for applicants who are the first in their family to pursue higher education.
These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.
The requirements are in the institution's words. Names and labels marked "our wording" are our own, written from the same page.
For every track
- Applicants whose weighted score on their bagrut certificate is 70–74 or on their practical engineer certificate is 80–84 may be admitted subject to a personal interview.
- Admitted students whose bagrut grade in mathematics at 4 or 5 units is 55–59, or whose bagrut grade in mathematics at 3 units is 60–69, are required to take the mathematics course taught during the first year. Grade in the course: 70.
- Applicants who studied at a high school where the main language of instruction is not Hebrew are required to take a Hebrew screening test (Yael exam).
