Admission based on previous academic studies

Admission to academic studies and recognition of previous studies (including granting exemptions) are at the discretion of Ashkelon Academic College, in accordance with the department's requirements, and are based on several parameters. Such requests will be considered individually according to the applicant's qualifications and the requested study track.

These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.

For every track

In the departments of Psychology, Social Work, Politics and Government, and Health Sciences—a Basic level grade of at least 85 is required.
– A grade of 80 or higher on the Hebrew expression bagrut exam.

What you study

The nursing curriculum combines in-depth theoretical and academic content with practical and clinical experience. The program provides the clinical and academic knowledge and skills required for nursing work in different settings, and includes preparation for the licensing exams for registered nurses. Courses in the degree include: Introduction to Nursing Sciences, Fundamentals of General Chemistry: Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology and Immunology, Developmental Psychology, Fundamentals of Drug Therapy, Pathology, Genetics and Embryology, Geriatric Nursing, Community Nursing, and clinical experience.
