Regular track
Admission requirements(our wording)
- Bagrut: average of 85 or higher, including bonus points (for studies at the 4- and 5-unit levels in English, mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science)
- Psychometric exam: minimum psychometric score of 620, or a practical engineer with an average of 90 or higher in the external exams and final project.

- Hebrew proficiency: Applicants to bachelor's degree studies must demonstrate proficiency in Hebrew.
- Introductory courses: Students admitted to the Polymer Materials Engineering Department must attend a summer course in mathematics, physics, and chemistry and earn a passing grade.

What you study
Plastics engineering, whose full name is polymer materials engineering, focuses on the development, research, and production of plastic materials for use in a wide range of fields: recycling, aviation, microelectronics, medicine, defense industries, nanotechnology, agriculture, coatings and adhesives, the packaging, construction, automotive, and medical industries, consumer products, and high-tech industries. The program includes a choice of one of 2 specializations: polymer science or polymer materials engineering. Studies include core courses such as polymers in medical applications, biodegradable polymers, and packaging principles, as well as electives such as conductive polymers, polymers in 3D tissue printing, and more.
