Tourism Studies

The degree includes courses in business administration, hotel management, and tourism management, and provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of the global and Israeli tourism and leisure industry, as well as practical experience, to prepare graduates for key roles in the tourism industry. At some institutions, the program focuses on tourism studies, without an emphasis on hotel management. Courses in the degree include: introduction to the tourism industry, introduction to economics for tourism, accounting fundamentals, heritage conservation, planning and developing tourist sites, tourism and hotel law, introduction to statistics, management fundamentals in tourism, tourism geography, tourism, society, and the environment, introduction to hotel management, introduction to microeconomics, service quality management, marketing management, tourism planning and development, and more.
