What you study
The degree is part of the Civil Engineering study tracks and provides knowledge and tools in fields concerned with processing, analyzing, and presenting geospatial information: describing the Earth's surface and the features on it. The field includes, among other things, geographic information systems (GIS), photogrammetry, remote sensing, cadastre and land registration, and satellite geodesy and navigation. Courses in the degree include core science courses in physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science, as well as courses and laboratories unique to the field, including the fundamentals of mapping, geospatial databases, an introduction to computer-aided mapping, photogrammetry, cartography, geodetic control networks, and more.
