What you would be doing

The operations room is the beating heart of every operational unit. You run it day-to-day and during emergencies, syncing operational activity while staying in direct contact with unit personnel, command and control centers. You can serve at any Air Force base — in aircraft and helicopter squadrons, special units, drone squadrons or classified units.

What it takes to get in

Profile 45 and above, Dapar 50 and above, Yom Ha-MEA: management and organization 2+, maturity 2+, information processing 3+, teamwork 3+, sustained attention 3+, spatial perception 3+, a security clearance.

Training

Basic training 02, then an 8-week course, at Uvda base, at the Aviation Professions School.

Where you serve

At one of the Air Force bases, closed-base.

What it is worth afterwards

Working under pressure, drawing fast conclusions, decision-making, splitting attention, verbal expression and public speaking.
