What you would be doing
You serve in the Border Police's urban patrol units as a mandatory police officer: securing crowded sites on foot, patrolling, and carrying out police missions to prevent hostile sabotage activity.
What it takes to get in
Profile 72 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores: human relations 2 and above, command 3 and above, teamwork 3 and above, attention 2 and above, effort and perseverance 2 and above.
Training
Tironut 03, then a 10-week course that includes, among other things, handgun training.
Where you serve
At Border Police posts in Jerusalem and in various districts as needed.
