Certified Electrician Course – Unit 8200

You install, run and maintain the electrical and energy systems that every server, operations room and command post in Unit 8200 depends on — generators, cooling and air conditioning, control systems, and the wiring behind all of it. You lay infrastructure and fix complex faults in real time, carrying direct responsibility for keeping operational sites running. You don't need any background in electrics going in — the course and the service teach you from scratch — but expect irregular hours and work at height as part of a team.

Full matriculation certificate with at least 3 units of mathematics, medical profile 64 and above (subject to specific profile clauses), an affinity for technical and hands-on work, willingness to work irregular hours, and the ability to work at height and with a range of tools.

Tironut, then a roughly four-month foundational course combining professional training with licensing, followed by placement at one of the unit's bases and, later in your service, an advanced course.

At Unit 8200 bases across the country, in either an open or closed-base setup.

You get a certified electrician's license recognized by the Ministry of Labor — a trade in high demand in civilian life, with graduates of the unit especially sought after.
