What you would be doing
You keep the line open between sea and land. This job is at the heart of the navy's communications system, connecting the naval control post to the most advanced vessels afloat — missile boats, submarines, security craft and more. Every piece of information passing through you matters for the country's security. During training you learn advanced communication languages and how to transmit classified, encrypted information, alongside demanding, engaging fieldwork.
What it takes to get in
Open to women; open to men with profile 64 and below. Stage A: an online selection process. Stage B: a physical selection at the navy's Bahad, including physical and group tasks. Those accepted must pass a security clearance. Profile 45 and above (women), Hebrew score 7, Dapar 4.
Training
An online selection stage, then a physical selection at the naval Bahad.
