What you would be doing
TAGACH — climbing, rappelling, and rescue — is a unique instructional field under the High-Angle Rescue School, working with rope systems and height-access gear so units can reach, move through, and rescue from difficult terrain. Training is long: you start with tironut alongside the Home Front Command's rescue-brigade fighters, then spend roughly ten more months in professional training. The instructing itself happens mostly in the field, spread across the whole country — you can be away from base for weeks, cooking for yourself and sleeping wherever you land. A select few instructors also occasionally join real operational activity, though that's rare.
