Combat Communications Officer (Kashar'g)

You're a combat officer specializing in planning and running digital systems on the battlefield. The role has three parts at once: you command a communications platoon of combat and communications soldiers, you're the battalion's operational staff officer responsible for communications in combat, and you're the professional who makes sure the systems work and operations are carried through.

For men and women. Profile 72 and above. Must have data suited to the officer track and pass a dedicated Kashar'g selection — a two-day overnight assessment at Bahad 7, including a physical-fitness test, group exercises, cognitive tests and a personal interview.

Basic training and basic combat fitness (Rifleman 03), professional basic training, an attachment as a communications-platoon soldier in the battalion alongside active Kashar'gim in field units (special forces, infantry, armor, artillery, engineering), a squad commanders' course, officer-course preparation, officer courses, and final soldier training.
