What you would be doing
This role combines technology and fieldwork. It splits into two tracks: field and instruction roles, and disassembly-and-assembly roles. It calls for hands-on fieldwork — taking equipment apart, building and assembling products — along with knowledge of robotics and technical ability.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 50 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores (women only): information processing 3 and above. Selection has several stages: tests, interviews and a security investigation.
Training
A personal mentoring process at the unit, letting you progress as fast as your own ability allows.
Where you serve
A closed base in central Israel; most of the work happens in the field.
