What you would be doing
You provide operational communications support to end-user units and operational staff, operating radio and digital systems, monitoring systems, and managing operational processes to help build a multi-branch situational picture. You serve in a technological operational environment and in command-and-control centers, from brigade level through the different branches (ground, air, sea) up to the General Staff.
What it takes to get in
Course open to men and women alike. No prior knowledge required (an advantage if you have it). Profile 25 and above. Security clearance required.
Training
About a 7-week course at the National School of Communications and Cyber Defense (Bahad 7), Ariel Sharon Camp, covering radio systems, operating systems, servers, networks and network architecture.
Where you serve
Deployed units (brigade, division), General Staff units, regional commands and branches.
What it is worth afterwards
You gain skills and experience operating and monitoring systems, teamwork, and broad knowledge of systems and communications.
