What you would be doing
Before enlisting, you catch up on programming and computer skills so you can later get into a serious course — programming, cyber defense or DevOps. You study networking, working with large databases, and the basics of Java.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 60 and above, and passing the computer-track exam with a qualifying score.
Training
About 2.5 months of civilian pre-military preparation, followed by a placement exam.
What it is worth afterwards
Preparation for a serious technical specialty in the army.
