What you would be doing
You search police databases and the internet — social networks, forums, professional sites — for information that helps solve or prevent crime. You learn to tell reliable information from noise, then analyze what you find and present it to your commander.
What it takes to get in
Men — profile up to 64; women — profile 45 and above. Dapar 50 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores, women only: management and organization 2 and above, instruction 2 and above, information processing 3 and above.
Training
Basic training 02 and about a 3-week police-roles course, followed by role-specific training.
Where you serve
In Cyber-SIGINT units across the country, including the brigade in Jerusalem (Har Hotzvim).
