What you would be doing
You work as a developer at the crossroads of research and product, writing automations, fixing bugs in Matzov's defense systems, and building cloud tools for big data. It's similar to DevOps work, only on classified systems the country's defense depends on.
What it takes to get in
Dapar 70 and above (men with a combat profile need 80 and above plus 10 study units in computer science or a degree), security clearance before enlistment. No prior computer knowledge required.
Training
About a 15-week pre-military course (kdatz), based at the "Olga" holiday village in Hadera.
Where you serve
At the Matzov unit in Tzrifin and other classified facilities in central Israel.
What it is worth afterwards
