What you would be doing
You join an elite technological unit that researches the electromagnetic spectrum — a new dimension of combat. You develop software and work on signal processing and algorithms alongside engineers and researchers. The course runs as a pre-military program (kdatz), with a longer service commitment.
What it takes to get in
Must pass the computer-track selection. Open to men and women, with women required to complete the same service length as men. Dapar 60 and above; men with a combat profile need Dapar 80 and above plus 10 study units in computer science or a technical degree. Security clearance required before enlistment. Runs as a pre-military course (kdatz).
Training
19 weeks at a closed base, at the "Olga" holiday village, in kdatz format.

An open unit in central Israel.
