What you would be doing
You're responsible for the server farms spread across bases nationwide — the infrastructure behind all the army's systems. You install, maintain, and keep watch over the hardware that everything else runs on.
What it takes to get in
Must pass the computer-track selection. No prior knowledge required. Open to men with a rear-service profile and to women. Dapar 60 and above. Security clearance required before enlistment.
Training
About a 10-week course at Basmach.
Where you serve
In computing centers across the different IDF branches.
What it is worth afterwards
Experience with server hardware, storage systems, virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
