What you would be doing
You're part of the dental clinic's medical team, giving care to soldiers. You work as the dentist's right hand — assisting with procedures, but also handling the appointment schedule, clinic inventory, ordering supplies and patient hygiene. Alongside training recognized by the Ministry of Health, you can sit the government licensing exam before discharge and earn an official professional certificate.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores (female candidates only): human relations 3 and above, management and organization 2 and above, teamwork 3 and above, maturity and judgment 3 and above.
Training
Tironut 02, then a 13-week course covering anatomy, physiology, biology and dental science.

What it is worth afterwards
You leave with a Ministry of Health-recognized certificate and real hands-on experience — dental assisting is an in-demand, well-paid civilian trade, and many who train this way go on to study dentistry.
