What you would be doing
You run a range of lab tests, including blood work, and you're responsible for flagging abnormal results and staying in direct contact with the medical staff of different units. You're a critical link in diagnosing and treating IDF soldiers.
What it takes to get in
Profile 25 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores (female candidates only): information processing 3 and above.
Training
Tironut 02, then a two-week course at Bahad 10.
Where you serve
In medical laboratories, serving across various corps around the country.
What it is worth afterwards
You get a Health Ministry-recognized certificate for venous blood draws, which lets you work at a health-fund clinic or hospital after your service.
