What you would be doing
You make dental prosthetics and restorations — porcelain crowns, night guards, implants, partial and full dentures, temporary crowns, and orthodontic plates. You're placed in a department based on lab needs, where you continue the professional training you started before enlistment.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above, requires experience and a professional dental-technology certificate (dental technology track, preferably grade 13). For women — Yom Ha-MEA scores: management and organization 2 and above.
Training
Basic training 02 and training in the unit.
Where you serve
At the Dental Medicine Center, part of the Chief Medical Officer's headquarters (Makrapr), at Camp Dori (Tel HaShomer).
