What you would be doing
You coordinate all the construction work needed at your base — putting up drywall partitions, cladding walls and ceilings, and fixing existing structures. You're also responsible for electrical, sewage and water-system installation, working alongside professional tradespeople.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64. For women — Yom Ha-MEA: field 3 and above, technical maintenance 2 and above, teamwork 3 and above.
Training
Tironut 02 and a nine-week course at Bahad 6.
Where you serve
Around the country, at the construction-center bases of Alram (the Logistics, Medical and Centers Directorate).
What it is worth afterwards
Real construction skills — drywall, electrics, plumbing — carry over directly into civilian trade work.
