Logistics Officer (Keshet Track)

You go through a fast, dedicated track to officer rank — basic training, a professional course, attachments in different IDF units, and officer training — finishing with the rank of officer. As a logistics officer you're in charge of a battalion's transport and fuel supplies, plan the supply operation, and stand in for the supply-platoon commander when needed.

Profile 64 and below, Dapar 60 and above, plus a successful pre-military selection and the officer tests. Requires signing on for an extra year of career (keva) service. Yom Ha-MEA marks (women only): instruction 2 and above, command 2 and above.

Basic training 02 at Bahad 6 in the training city, then 14 months: a dedicated professional course at Bahad 6, an initial attachment to field units, a command course, an advanced attachment to field units, a logistics command course at Bahad 6, a week-long selection, the officers' course at Bahad 1, and civilian completion studies.
