What you would be doing
You're the right hand of the unit's mental health officer — the go-to person for soldiers and commanders, gathering information before a soldier meets the officer, spotting sensitive situations, and prioritizing appointments by clinical urgency. You also conduct structured interviews with soldiers in psychological distress.
What it takes to get in
Profile 25 and above, Dapar 50 and above. Yom Ha-MEA marks: treating a person 3 and above, management and organization 3 and above, information processing 3 and above, maturity 3 and above.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 7-week course at Bahad 10.
