What you would be doing

You maintain the propulsion systems of the Merkava tank (marks 3 and 4) and the Namer APC — learning to spot and fix faults, swap out parts, and keep the vehicle combat-ready. Afterward you can be placed in armored battalions, the Armored Corps school, the national armored-vehicle maintenance network, or development and training units.

Training

5 weeks, plus 2 weeks of specialization.
