Occupational Analyst

You serve in the General Staff's occupational-research section — the body solely responsible for creating, defining and managing every trade in the army. You help decide whether to open new army trades, define what each trade involves and its admission thresholds (both quality and medical), and work with units to map out training and career-advancement paths across the entire army. The job includes visits to different units, producing and analyzing data from advanced systems, and drafting recommendations that shape the whole army — carrying real weight even at the IDF's senior decision-making level. You work across every branch, division and command, with exposure to a wide range of units, trades, and strategic processes happening behind the scenes.

Because of how sensitive the role is, placement requires passing a pre-military selection process, followed by a security clearance up to Top Secret level.
